Vergie was born and raised in the Shreveport/Bossier City area and currently lives in Greenwood, LA with Charles, her husband of 32 years and Tucker, their 4-year-old Bichon Frise. She is the mother of 2 boys; Bradley (29) and David (26) who both live in the McKinney/Plano, Texas area.
Vergie began her insurance career in 1996. She is licensed and is a Notary as well. She began working for State Farm agent Sam Spivey and worked continuously with him for 25 years until his retirement in 2021. She then contracted with 6 State Farm agents in the Shreveport/Bossier City area to work with their customers to help build wealth for retirement. She has a passion for helping customers not only protect what they have by way of insurance but also prepare for their future retirement.
When Vergie is not serving State Farm customers, she enjoys spending time with Charles and Tucker as well as visiting the boys in Texas. She is a faithful member of her church family and has cultivated lifelong friendships in the faith. She is an avid reader and enjoys traveling as much as possible with her RV group.
